Appetite For Destruction - Guns N' Roses vinyl?

Okay, any big Guns N' Roses fans would know about it, but when Guns N' Roses brought out their 1987 "Appetite For Destruction" album, on the cover they had the painting called Appetite For Destruction by Robert Williams (the one with the raped chick and the machine and stuff), but they got told it was offensive and had to be changed or sold in a paper bag, so they changed it to the cross with the 5 skulls that Axl Rose has tattooed onto his arm.
The other day I got a vinyl with the original cover that had to be changed at a car boot sale, they only used the cover for a really short period of time after it was released, so would having this cover make it more valuable to collecters and fans?

YES! it definitely makes it more valuable not many people will own that copy

How bad do side tattoos hurt?

i think side tattoos like that are SO cute, plus you can have like, a giant tattoo and not have to worry about not being able to get a job and stuff cos it would be completely covered by a shirt anyway.

How bad do they hurt?
I know it depends on pain tolerence, but how bad did it hurt for you, and whati s your pain tollerence exactly?
for example, getting your lip done was nothing for you, but this tattoo was like getting your lip ring pulled out, or something like that.

I have a very high tolerance for pain, and I wouldn't say it's painful, but getting tattooed is uncomfortable. It's not a nice feeling, but it's not horrible to a point where you're crying either.

HOWEVER. If you ever plan on having children in the future, do not get a tattoo there, lol. All that pain would have been for nothing when the tattoo gets ruined.

Having my first tattoo tomoro?

Tomoro morning im going to have my first tattoo on the lower part of my back, Its a horse head through a horse shoe with a flower design coming out either side of the horse shoe with mom and dad either side.. Questions i want ansering are simple really..

- Is the outline or colouring in that is worser pain?
- Do you like the sound of my design =P

BTW Im NOT interested if you do not like tattoo's so no point in commenting here, i have thought long and hard ( 3 years infact) about having a tattoo, and finally had the bottle to get it done! =D

I have four tattoos, and through my experience, I have noticed no real difference between the outline and fill in. To me, getting a tattoo feels more like a constant scrape, not bad and does not hurt.As far as the design, as long as you like it, and it means something to you, then that's all that should matter.

Remember, once you get 1, you will want to get another, so start thinking of your next design.

What design of tattoo would go well with a rose on my back shoulder blade?

It is horizontal and has a long stem going down part of my back. I am only thinking of adding to the design or just getting something on my other shoulder, if I'm not able to think of ideas for a complete backpiece. Would an old school winged heart work with a long stem rose? If you have any pics that would help!Thanks

I would go with some musical notes if all you're going on is the look of it. Otherwise it shouldn't matter if you actually want it on there for any other reason.

Colored tattoos?

I have 2 tattoos but theyre both black.
Im planning on getting one more soon, but I think it will look better in color. I want to get a branch with Japanese cherry blossom flowers on it.
My first question is, the Japanese cherry blossoms are white and light pink. Do they have the ability to make a tattoo with those colors? Will the color look nice and somewhat realistic and delicate and not like it came out of a crayola box?
Also, does anyone have a colored tattoo that theyve had for at least 10 years? Im young, and although the colors will look bright now, Im hesitant because I wonder how the color will look after 10 years, 20 years, etc.
If you have had colored tattoos for many years, I would appriciate your input.

Also to specify, I wanted the white filled in with the light pink, not a solid white!

The tattoo sound great! I have seen some like it and the flowers are usually light pink with white highlights making them look soft and delicate. If you find the right artist this tattoo will be gorgeous! The most important thing is not to settle. If you spend a lot of time with a tattoo artist and are not 100% happy with the design, DON"T GET IT! This is permanent and you should love it! My large color tattoo is 4 years old and hasn't faded at all and I have a friend who's had one for 8 years and the color hasn't faded on hers either! One thing to remember with your tattoos, especially colored ones, is to always put sunscreen on them. A lot of sun exposure is going to increase any fading that you might get. Enjoy your artwork!

How long should you think about a tattoo you want before actually getting it?

Also what is the best way to find a tattoo artist with amazing work? i want very big, detailed, and vibrant flowers down my whole side

just long enough to make sure you TRULY want it. make sure its something you wont regret. but also, dont wait too long or you will get psyched out by peopled telling you negative things or just end up putting it off!
to find a good artist, shop around. research online. ask people WITH tattoos. go to shops in your area. ask questions. dont be shy or intimidated. its your body so you need to make sure you are comfortable with the person working on you. check out multiple artists portfolios, and even watch them while they work if they will let you. choosing your artist should take longer than designing your piece! look for a sanitary shop, make sure they are wearing gloves and that they require customers to fill out the proper paperwork! CHECK OUT THE BATHROOM!!!! if the owner cant keep the shops bathroom clean, how hygienic can you really trust them to be??? talk to artists about what you want and your design criteria. after talking to a few artists and visiting their shops, make your decision based on which one will suit your needs best.

Is this a good idea for a tattoo?(opinions)?

My mother passed away when I was less then a year old. I want to get a tattoo in memory of her. I decided to pick 2 flowers and a butterfly, to represent her and me as well. The flower I want to use is her birth-flower, which is February's violet flower. Her favorite color was purple so that's just a plus. My other flower is to get a light pink rose,because that is my middle name that her mother gave me and in addition, it's also my favorite flower and pink is my favorite color as well. I want the the butterfly, because it's a mutual thing. The butterfly represents change life. The butterfly will be flying away to represent me being to let go of my being able to let go of my angry and regrets toward her and just love her for being my mother.
What do you think?

the most important thing when getting a tattoo is that you feel comfortable with it if not for the rest of your life yes for a long time... it seems that you have thought this idea thoroughly so i think it will make you very happy to see it every day for the rest of your life... so i would say yes is a good idea... if it makes you happy and comfortable and it is a good idea for you then yes is a good idea... don´t ever do anything because somebody else likes it or tells you to...
