Ideas for Couple's Tattoo?
My fiancee and I have been together for 8 years. We have 2 children together. We have both been married before and did not want to do the whole 'legal/traditional thing' again. We are happy to just be together and (eventually) have something like a commitment ceremony like same-sex couples do, with our friends and family. Because we are not taking the traditional route and think rings are traditional, we have decided to get couple's tattoos but want something very unique that fits our unique relationship. No keys and locks, heart-o-grams, or names. We were thinking that one of us may get a jar of peanut butter and the other get a jar of jam... nothing goes together better than a peanut butter and jelly... lol, kinda funny. Anyway... any ideas??
One day while I was working I was chatting w/ this customer and I noticed she had a lizard tattooed on her ear around the upper cartilage area and it looked pretty cool and I complimented her on it and she goes "oh my husband has one too" sure enough her husband came around the corner and he had the same matching lizard but his was placed a little different on his ear. They were an older couple like late 50's and she told me that they had those matching tattoos for years. I'm not saying get matching lizards ha ha but I thought I'd share that w/ u.
