Scale of pain (Tattoo)?
Im thinking of getting a tattoo on my upper arm, medium sized kanji style, i know the arm is less painfull then the wrist or parts with thin bone, anyways i just want to know your experiences or knowledge of how painfull getting a tattoo is.
The only pain i ever experienced was when i fell off my motobike scraping one of my leg across the road and another was getting circumsized in my teens, i cant exagerate a tattoo being like that but i dont know but im really determined
I have 18 tattoos. Ones on the upper arm are certainly amongst the least painful places. The pain of getting a tattoo is actually very brief. As the gun is moved over the skin there is pain, like the pain of a wound, but after the briefest pause and the gun is withdrawn the pain level drops to being about that of a bruise.
If you are distracted by conversation then the pain seems greatly reduced, so ensure you choose a chatty tattooist. I talk about history with my tattooist as he works.
I hope your tattoo looks great when it is done.
