Does anyone know of any good sites that has free tattoo designs?

Looking for a site with various tattoo designs, mostly tribal and cow skull patterns.

Just google tribal tatto designs. It will work. I used a couple different sites and incorporated two different designs for an original design. Got them off the net. Good luck.

I love this side tattoo, but I want to make it original. Help!?

Since I was young in my teens I have wanted a side tattoo of roses and vine like patterns.
I've searched the web looking for ideas and this is what I have always imagined and the most classy.

But I don't want to get this obviously because I prefer something that doesn't come right of a picture onto my skin, and I've seen this picture all over the web... Can someone help me with idea's or possibly pictures?

1. you could have the artist add in a little color to the flowers (like a color wash at the edges where it looks like an antiqued picture)
2. change the flower type
3. have the vine extend up to your shoulder and wrap onto the top of your shoulder or extend up to accent below your breast

Where/how to get a custom tattoo design?

I am ready to get another tattoo (only my 2nd) but I want it to be custom designed. I have ideas for it, but:

1) am by no means an artist so even a rough sketch would be kind of bad, lol.

2) I want the drawing to belong to me. I want to be the only person with this tattoo as it will be extremely personal to me (but could apply to other's) and is coming from my own ideas. My worry is that if I give my ideas to an artist to draw for me, the drawing will be theirs and others could use the art in the future.

Any ideas or advice? Are there any free sites that could help me design it, then I could print it and take it to the artist?

To get something really nice, you could hire an artist to do it for you. Free sites are free, and they will not guarantee that it will remain unique forever. Tattoo artists will also charge extra to have something custom.

To start off, you need to choose a tattoo artist that has amazing work in the style that you want. Get to know the artist before he/she does work on you, and check out photos of their completed work, plus portfolios.

After you choose an artist, if you haven't already before this, you can search for people to commission. Deviantart.com has millions of artists that specialize in tattoo commissions, many are affordable.

If you want something truly amazing, dont be too afraid to shell out cash for it.

I need to get logos and text on to plastic with as little bump as possible...?

I need to get logos and text on to plastic with as little bump as possible...

I will be spray painting a plastic object, after a few layers and once it's dry I will need to add the logos and text in question, before finally adding a layer or two of crystal clear acrylic to gloss it over.

Making basic stencils and painting like that isn't an option for various reasons, stickers wouldn't be at all right because they'll leave a bump.

Extremely thin decals could be an option, but preferably not.

What I'm ideally looking for is maybe some sort of peel of sticker that can be custom ordered, that when you peel it off leaves the text, shape or logo on the plastic in the form of some sort of paint, almost in the manner that those temporary tattoos do.

Help is really appreciated.

You haven't shared the relative size of your object with us and whether it will get much exposure to the sun.

There are many places that will custom cut vinyl from your art files (any sign or banner store). You can order it in different mils. If you go too thin it will stretch and tear easily while you are applying it. These must be areas of solid color, but you can have several colors in one layout. This would be good for larger areas, can be clear coated and would hold up well in the sun. You will need several coats of clearcoat with vinyl, wet sanding with 600 grit in between each to make it smooth.

For small objects you can have custom waterslide decals made. You can also buy the stock and make your own on a color printer. Waterslides can be gradations of colors that mix together. These are good for small objects, can be clearcoated with one or two shots, but are not very light fast.

Does anyone know of any good tattoo parlors in my area?

I am planning on getting my next tattoos soon (two of them in one sitting) and I don't know of any good parlors in the area. I live in Antioch, IL and am willing to travel up to a 25-30 mile radius to a good parlor. The last (and first) tattoo I got was in Bloomington-Normal, so I don't know of any good parlors up here yet. I am looking for a place that has autoclave sterilization, good prices, and potentially has good artists who specialize in custom lettering and tribal.

I recommend that you go to www.inkednation.com and do a search for artists in your area. Then you can view their portfolios and see if they do the kind of work that you are wanting done.

My tattoo is bleeding ink!?

I have had my tattoo for about 14 hours now. It is on my wrist, and it didnt really bleed alot and it seems to have taken the ink pretty well. Just this morning though, I touched it, and i had the green ink on my finger. I patted it with a napkin, and it you could almost pick out the whole star pattern with the ink. It wasnt doing it until this morning, and I'm worried that its going to lose all its ink if it continues. Is this normal? Or should I be worried? Also, how do I fix it or make it stop? I just wiped all the ink off about ten minutes ago, and just now I got even more off! Its oozing ink! Please help fast, before I lose the damn thing!
Im not wiping it, im patting it, I didnt mean i wiped it off literally, I just removed the excess with the napkin. He told me only to pat it, so thats what I do. BTW, it stopped doing it. Thanks for the answers.!

It is completely normal! Tattoos will bleed ink for the first 24 hours. During this time,all of the extra ink that got under the skin is being pushed out by the body in order to try to heal itself. This doesn't mean that all of the ink will bleed out either! For the first 24 hours, you should put a thin film of either bacitracin or A&D ointment (first aid one). You should always wash your hands and the area with antibacterial soap because it doesn't have all the extra junk that could dry out your tattoo like fragance. Make sure that you are not wiping the extra ink off, always pat it dry. You don't want to cause more trauma to the area...remember that a tattoo is a body modification, in other words, an open wound. After the 24 hours, you need to keep that area moisturized with lotion. Again, plain old lotion, nothing with perfumes or anything like that. I find that Aquaphor by Eucerin, when applied in a thin layer gives the right amount of moisture and keeps it protected from the environment. You won't lose the tattoo at all! Trust me, its there to stay! I have a couple of tattoos and this is part of the body's healing process. You will be fine and pretty soon ready for your next one! Hope this helps!
