BIC pen ink safe for homemade tattoos?

If you used the ink from a BIC pen, would you get ink poisoning?

You probably wouldn't get poisoned but it would look terrible. Just invest in some india ink, it's only like $3-5. And look at it this way, if you were to go in and have it professionally done, most places make you pay like $40-60 even for something really small. So it's worth the....investment.
And if you're thinking about just stabbing yourself with a BIC pen, my goodness just do it a little less ghetto for a little more work. Just a LITTLE more work. It's worth it. I've had my homemade tattoo for over a year and its still perfect. here's the instructions I used.
