What it costs varies upon which tattoo artist you use and which art you choose. The more detail and the bigger the tat, the higher the cost. A full body tat could easily cost into the thousands of dollars.

Full body tats take a very long time to acquire because you have to take into account healing time between sessions. Your body can only take so much inking abuse at a time and then it needs to rest and heal before you can go back and get more added.

It's also a very painful process, depending which area happens to be worked on, some areas more painful than others. The outlining is the most painful.

Temporary tattoos are a great alternative to do to try out having tats and deciding whether or not you want to commit to being a lifelong tat wearer.
